My Process

If you’re like me, you probably appreciate knowing what to expect before investing in / starting a new project. The goal of this guide is to show you what it’s like to build your brand with me.

That said, every brand is unique. During the discovery call, we will outline a plan that’s best for your brand. If you have any questions about my process or really anything at all, hit me up.

Discuss (Let's Get Coffee)

Consider this the “let’s grab coffee” step. We’ll get to know each other, unearth what your brand really needs and discuss time and budget.

Deal (Let's Do It)

~ 2 days

Once we’ve determined the best path forward, I’ll send you a contract. Once it’s signed and the 50% deposit has been paid… the journey begins.

Discover (Digging Deep)

~ 2 hour call

Together, we’ll go deep into your brand to discover it’s values, goals, keywords, obstacles, competition, fans and more. I want to know it all.

Define (Map It Out)

~ 1 week

I will create a “brand map” which will include a detailed overview of the brand, along with options for colors, imagery, textures and typography.

Deliberate (Agree On The Path Forward)

~ 2 days

After I walk you though the boards, we will take a beat to weigh our options, ask questions and make revisions. Having the right map is crucial!

Design (Adventure Begins)

~ 2 weeks

With map in hand, I will venture forth to create 1-2 options of a full brand design. (logos, alternates, patterns, colors, typography, mockups, etc)

Debrief (Brand Review)

I will explain my designs and my vision for the future of the brand. I will answer any questions and make revisions as needed.

Deliver (Shiny New Brand)

Upon approval and final payment, I will send you the brand map, style guide, design assets and any other deliverables from our journey.

Direct (What's Next)

I will help you prepare for your next adventure by explaining how to use everything we uncovered and strategize potential next steps.

The entire journey typically takes between 3 and 5 weeks, but is largely dependent on what’s required, amount of deliverables and feedback time. I will do my best to get you onto your next great adventure in a timely manner.
